The plaster we use is a 100% natural non-toxic Greek product and a material without any chemical additives.
The original Votive relief ( 4 th century BC) is exhibited in Piraeus Museum, Greece . Asclepius, attended by Hygiea, treats a sleeping woman (Incubation sleep) .
ASKLEPIOS (Asclepius) was originally a mortal and later became the god of medicine and healing, according to the ancient Greeks. His cult was particularly popular all over Greece and people from all Meditarranean countries used to come to his temples, named Asclepieion, to be cured. The treatments that took place were secret and could not be divulged to anybody. In addition to the sacred sites, these centres had areas dedicated to entertainment such as Odeons, theatres, stadiums, racecourses and other institutions for the entertainment of the patients, necessary for good health.
